DoctorCPD.ie an online continuing professional development site for Irish doctors and healthcare professionals. It is the ideal vehicle for completing your personal, self-directed CPD requirements - and it is free.
Once registered with doctorCPD, doctors can earn CPD credits by completing educational modules. On completion of each module, CPD hours, module details, and any learning notes will automatically be logged in the user's personal online CPD log.
The content of doctorCPD is provided and reviewed for the most part by Irish doctors. Each module lists the author's name and credentials. Each module is designed to be completed within the time designated on the Module Introduction page. This is an estimate of the maximum time required to complete the specific module and is determined by the format and content of the module. Users should claim only those credits that reflect the time actually spent on the activity.
Once you have registered with any of our CPD sites you have access to all our sites. You also have unlimited access to the digital versions of The Medical Independent, Nursing in General Practice, Update and Irish Pharmacist.
The privacy of our users is important to us and we are committed to protecting it. We will not share a user's personal information with third parties without prior consent. Users will not receive emails from third parties unless they have agreed to do so.
